Decades of enterprise IT. Now working for the small guy.
We're a local team of techs led by a career IT and security executive who retired from corporate life to focus on the part of the work that always mattered most: solving problems for people.

Why we started CarolinaTechs
CarolinaTechs was founded by someone who spent decades in IT and information security, retiring from corporate life after years in director and senior-level roles. That career meant big budgets, big outages, audits, breaches, and a lot of late nights—and a lot of hard-won lessons about what actually keeps technology safe and running.
The best part was never the boardroom. It was helping people—and there's nobody who needs that help more than small businesses and families who don't have an IT department to call.
So that's who we work for now. Whether you need a CTO, CIO, or CISSP-level opinion on a big decision, or you just need your printer back online, you get the same experience and the same care. No upselling, no fear-mongering—just straight answers and work done right.
A team of techs, one standard of quality
Behind every visit is a team of experienced technicians and senior-level oversight when things get complicated. That means we can respond fast—typically same day for remote support and next business day onsite—and emergency onsite help is available at premium rates when something can't wait.
